Fuel Cleaner/Carbon Build Up
Does anyone know of a different solution for carbon build? Mazda has a product called Zoom-Zoom but they want something like $50! I have heard something along the lines of Seafoam and the Lucas Oil fuel cleaner...Any suggestions??

Use seafoam, you really don't want to see what kind of build goes on into these engines. I just took apart my first RX8 engine which only had 58000kilometers. It was ridiculous, exhaust port build up(heck I thought it was part of the sandwich housing-the whole corner part was filled in), couldn't get the apex seal springs and side seals springs out. I recommend only premix and seafoam regularly.

So it is safe to use on the rotary engine? I read one little blip from someone saying that it can damage your seals? Also, were do I put this in: Gas tank, throttle intake tube thing? Help/suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Seriously man this has been covered a million times, use the damn search button. Don't be so lazy, the seafoam and the zoom zoom cleaner procedure both have been documented many times. Honestly if you can't manage to search a simple web site then you are better off not even working on your RX-8 because you will likely screw something up anyway.

Lazy!! WOW!!! I think you may have ingested a little to much smoke from your exhaust tips... I don't think I would be using this forum if I didn't know what I was doing! Did you ever think that maybe I did the research and found multiple opinions on how to use the stuff? Hence the question I posted on my last posting... Thank you all for the advice and tips!
