Check engine light flashing

i was driving yesterday and everything was just fine, all of sudden i started loosing power and the check engine light started flashing, now its very hard to drive. i got it scaned at autozone and they said its missfiring in "cyclinder one" so it seems like its just sparkplugs are bad but im not an expert and want to make sure. also i was wondering should i also change my coils just in case? by the way the car is 2004 with 57,000.

Spark plugs and coils are the best way to go.

Jon is correct change them both, but don't forget to change the spark plug wires too. They get old and brittle and could be the problem.

drastic: are you on the original plugs, wires, and coils?
If so, listen to the Jon and OR as those are most likely the culprits

I changed the spark plugs and she ran fine, I dove around for about 20 minutes. I let it sit there for about 3 hours then when I was ready to drive again when it started stutturing again n died.. I'm getting coils on monday cuz that's my second guess. It's odd because the engine light flashes n stay on, the car baraly starts. My friend told me to check the coils by keeping the engine on n unplugging each one at a time to see if the engine dies and determine if it's good??? Would it over flood? Lastly my friend said I should check the crank sensor? Sorry it's so long but I'm confused!!
