Thumbs down Horn button..

While I know that it's traditional to have the horn in the middle of the wheel, after driving two cars wth horn buttons next to my thumbs, I much prefer this setup as it lets me keep two hands on the wheel for an emergency manouver while honking. It's too bad the horn is in the middle of the wheel. For me anyway.

I like the horn in the middle. When your mad and you want to honk your horn you can never find it, according to Homer Simpson. Seriously though the only time I use a horn is when i'm in a situation that is happening really fast and I don't want to have to fiddle with horn buttons. All you have to do is punch the center of the wheel. Just my $.02

Same here. I often honk with 3 or 5 rapid beeps as a less-obnoxious alternative to holding down the horn. Easy for my thumb, but less so if I must use my entire hand on the 8's steering wheel.

Yeah but then you can steer only with one hand. Not very good if things are "happening very fast" and you gotta avoid someone. It's just a matter of getting used to, I've been doing it for the past 6 years and prefer it now.

I like the thumb buttons. In an ideal world, we could have both though, couldn't we?

Nothing like having your hand all over the horn in the middle when the airbag goes off in a collision.

I like the buttons too.
