im gonna say no, but..........
with ehough money, time, and money i guess
you would need to fit new trans, clutch, ect. . . . . . . . .
and you would need to move everything
why not just buy a vette

I've seen more Ford engines swapped into Mazdas, usually a 302. I think the reason was oil pan clearance, but there is no way to know without getting an engine and measuring everything, then you don't know until you try. I would think you'd get front to rear and left to right clearance problems, plus the LS7 being too tall.

Bingo.
If you really want to get exotic and try something that would fit, look for a surplus Allison Model T63-A-700(250-C18) Gas Turbine Engine. 325 HP out of a 140 Lb motor that measures 40" long by 33" diameter. No radiator needed. Probably better with an automatic.

If an Ls1 will fit in the Rx8 so will an Ls7...same exact block with different technology bolted to it.
Use the Search Button...I know I read somewhere someone had it done with an Ls1 or Ls2.

Go the Major Horsepower forums. I've started a thread about this. There is a well known company that does LSx swaps into RX-7s and 240SXs looking for someone wanting to do this. They build kits to make the swaps bolt on. This is definitely not DIY without.

or just buy a mustang in addition. I can tell you as Cobra owner as well that the Cobra fails to scratch any itch accept for speed and power. That's about the end of it's entertainment.
If you're REALLY pushin to do a swap, go 3-rotor or 13B TT...still a hard swap but not NEAR as hard as an LS7
